Site requested assisted on best practices to collect and report law enforcement problem solving efforts to assess and understand impact with implementation efforts. Provided hot spot problem solving matrix and hot spot activity report templates to site research partner so they can review and modify to best understand law enforcement efforts and the impact of CBCR funded activities.

LISC will attend Hartford’s core-leadership team implementation strategies kick-off meeting. Site has a new project coordinator so it will be helpful to ensure he is up to speed, get his perceptions of the submitted implementation plan and to talk through short-term plans for next 3-6 months. New project coordinator (PC) lives in the hot spot area so is more well versed in the challenges that the prior PC.

LISC is currently working with the site on developing an agenda for an upcoming TTA site visit to discuss implementation expectations, meet partners and tour the site’s downtown commercial district which could serve as a pilot for LISC’s newly developed commercial corridor safety work. The objective of this site visit will be to meet with partners and stakeholder and assist in acclimating them to the CBCR model, conduct an on-site assessment of the site’s current capabilities and understanding of the CBCR model, and identify immediate areas of TTA needed.
