In order to advance access to restorative justice education, the NCORJ offers scholarships for the Professional Certificate in Restorative Justice at Vermont Law and Graduate School.
Two-day virtual training, utilizing a virtual platform set in a specific timezone, designed to expand knowledge, incorporate other tracks, enhance skills, and improve outcomes for courts featuring the full spectrum of justice-involved individuals in their jurisdiction.
Two-day intensive in-person training for veterans treatment courts that have been in operation for two or more years.
Lindsey Price Jackson participated as an expert panelist about community courts and the need for alternatives to incarceration. The panel was titled "Panel: Community Courts in Practice"
Lindsey Jackson and Chris Heinrich presented "Current Guiding Principles & Community Justice Initiatives" to the State of Delaware at the Delaware Behavioral Health & Criminal Justice Integration Summit
A review of all existing program documents will transpire to include VTC procedure manuals, participant handbook, mentor manual, BeST Assessment (as applicable), Hopes and Concerns assessment tool, and relevant past/present grant information. A discussion of all documentation with the designated Justice for Vets (JFV) staff member (JFV Leader) in advance of formal involvement with the VTC team members will occur.
