CSG Justice Center staff met with grantee following shadowing site visit of another Indianapolis (JMHCP)?grant. Met grantee at PACE, the service provider of the SCA?IRI?reentry project. Dalton Haney of Community Solutions, Inc. (the grant project manager)?organized the meeting. CSG Justice Center staff were given a tour of the PACE?facility, followed by a meeting with the PACE?director (Riannon Edwards) and care coordinator for the project?(Mara and Laura).?

CSG Justice Centeer staff met with grantee in Delaware for a day-long,?joint SRR/IRI?planning meeting.?
Spent part of morning session and the afternoon discussing their IRI project, and how it relates/differentiates with their SRR project. Grantee is working on NCJRP?framework as well, and there are several changes they will be making under that which will affect both their IRI?and SRR?projects.?
Walked through IRI?P&I?guide, and addressed how they will continue to build out their IRI?plan, particularly if there are changes to?I-ADAPT (under NCJRP proposed changes).?

CSG Justice Center staff visited the Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center for a tour, facilitated a meeting group with the United Way of Anchorage, meeting on homelessness, and met at the Mayor's Office for a discussion on resources for homelessness.

Last year, NACDL released its first report on South Carolina's summary courts, Summary Injustice: A Look at Constitutional Deficiencies in South Carolina's Summary Courts. This first report was a joint project with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the ACLU of South Carolina. Then, earlier this year, NACDL released its second report on South Carolina's summary courts, Rush to Judgment: How South Carolina's Summary Courts Fail to Protect Constitutional Rights.

In January, CSG Justice Center staff began preparations for the introduction of legislation that memorializes the recommendations of the justice reinvestment working group. The policy framework from the justice reinvestment working group is expected to be introduced early in the 2018 legislative session, following the convening of the Pennsylvania General Assembly on February 5th, 2018.

The National Center for Lesbian Rights, in collaboration with the Center for Children's Law and Policy, will convene a group of juvenile justice stakeholders to develop a model policy governing services to transgender, gender non-conforming, and intersex youth in juvenile justice facilities.
