The St. Louis, Missouri National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site requested assistance with trauma informed policing. BJA NTTAC supported a multidisciplinary team of subject matter experts from the New Haven, Connecticut PD and Yale University to assist St. Louis PD in planning a trauma-informed policing initiative.
Monthly check-in meeting with Jefferson County. Presented information on upcoming trainings out of SAKI TTA, gathered info on storage of anonymous kits, entering cases in ViCAP and successes/challenges of ViCAP, and using SAKI funding for genealogy/Parabon testing.
Chicago Police Department requests
Chicago Police Department (PD) requested on-site and remote technical assistance from Joan Brody to develop a FFY18 grant strategy, identify new FFY18 public and private grant opportunities, and provide guidance on approaches for future grant submissions. The requestor withdrew the request.
