The Toledo, Ohio Police Department, as part of the Toledo National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the Foundations of Intelligence Analysis Training Program. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to one representatives from Toledo PSP site to attend the training from December 3 - 7, 2018 in Oxnard, California.
BJA requested travel support to send 13 PSP representatives to the IHIA Advanced Homicide/ Violent Crimes Investigations Course in Quantico, VA on November 5 - 9, 2018. BJA provided travel support to 4 representatives from the Baton Rouge, Salisbury, Lansing, and Buffalo Diagnostic sites.
BJA requested to send thirteen participants to the 2018 IHIA Basic Homicide Training in Miami, Florida on October 22 - 26, 2018. The participants did not attend the training.
Killeen PD requested travel support for representatives to attend the Regional Organized Crime Informational Center 27th Annual Homicide Conference. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to two representatives to attend the conference in Murfreesboro, Tennessee from September 30 – October 3, 2018.
Restoration of Hope requested information and training materials for reentry programs. BJA NTTAC referred this request to the National Reentry Resource Center.
The Coconino County, Arizona Sheriff's Office requested support in hosting host an on-site training that broadly addresses common Sovereign ideology as well as best practices when contacting known or suspected Sovereigns. The requestor withdrew the request.
Marion County Texas requested information on training for the use of Naloxone and how to acquire Naloxone kits. BJA NTTAC provided the requestor with resources on acquiring Naloxone and training information for its local departments.
The Western Pennsylvania Fusion Center requested assistance with general training needs. BJA NTTAC provided a referral to the Kentucky Fusion Center (Kentucky Office of Homeland Security) to provide training resources and peer mentorship opportunities.
The Portland, Maine Police Department requested assistance to develop and implement a violence reduction strategy. BJA NTTAC fulfilled the request and provide violence reduction resources to The Portland, ME Police Department in Portland, Maine on March 25, 2019.
The Dallas, Texas Police Department (PD) requested drug market intervention training. The requestor was unresponsive.
