Various police departments requested travel support for representatives to attend the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA) conference. BJA NTTAC supported five representatives to attend the conference on August 19-23, 2020 in National Harbor, Maryland.
BJA supported travel for members from the Houston Public Safety Partnership (PSP) sites to attend the FBI's DIVRT Training in San Diego, California on July 9 - 12, 2019.
The New Orleans, Louisiana Police Department (NPD), as part of the New Orleans Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the FBI DIVRT Training. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to two representatives from the New Orleans PSP site to attend the conference from July 9 - 12, 2019 in San Diego, California.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) requested the development of a curriculum about crime gun intelligence (CGI) investigations. Michael Eberhardt and Kevin Armbruster were selected to fulfill the request. This technical assistance was continued in the next contract year.
The 12th Judicial District of Colorado requested a prosecution assessment. Prosecutors' Center for Excellence was selected to fulfill the request and provided a prosection assessment. The prosecution assessment occurred in 2020 and involved judges, defense attorneys, community leaders, elected officials, and police. Prosecutors' Center for Excellence delivered the final report to the 12th Judicial District of Colorado in August 2020.
