Morristown Police Department and Morris Township Bureau of Police are seeking training and technical assistance to establish a crime analysis program that will involve and leverage information from both police agencies. They seek an assessment of their technology infrastructure, data sources, and personnel resources to support this effort. They seek guidance to develop a step-by-step plan to establish a working crime analysis program within six months.
Our New Orleans Task Force has been updated with new members (for the new prostitution diversion program that we will be implementing soon under the Racial Justice Improvement Project). The following critical members have been added: Henry Dean from New Orleans Police Department, Mark Burton and Ginger Miller from the DA’s Office and Charlene Larche-Mason from the City Attorney’s Office.
In an effort to reduce crime and promote community safety the Camden County's Police Department (CCPD) wants to implement evidence-based reforms through successful strategies, programs, and policies while undergoing significant organizational changes to their agency. Due to the growth and changing demographics of our municipality - as well as the relatively inexperienced tenure of our supervisors and managers - the Tempe Police Department has recognized a great need to increase the amount of leadership and supervisory training provided to the current and future leaders of our organization.
The Casa Grande Police Department recently uderwent an administation change which emphasizes a pro-active problem solving philosophy. As part of this cultural shift, the department seeks assistance to transition officer's mindset to a performance management philosophy. In addition, the department has experienced a cut in available training funds by more than fifty percent in this economic downturn. BJA NTTAC referred this request to CICP.
