Sheriff reached out through IIR portal to request TA on setting up a jail-based MAT program.

A fellow TTA Provider reached out regarding a request from a Sheriff in Illinois with help to find resources/funding for the expansion of SUD programming and MAT. Rulo responded to Koren VanderWeele of TASC with a request for a meeting. We will work to setup that meeting and gather information.

Grantee is looking for information on ways to better track data on their naloxone vending machines. There are several machines located throughout Franklin County, OH, and the grantee is having trouble with the surveys and demographic information being logged when an individual extracts a naloxone kit. We will work to ask other sites with vending machines how they track data and provide a connection when possible.

Dr. Bonney has stated that she needs to put this request on hold until further notice because her schedule is not allowing for a trip to any of the sites. She was advised that the TTA request will be closed for now, and when she is ready to proceed, she would be welcome to reinstate the process. Working with Bernalillo County and Dr. Bonney to attend an MAT site visit in either November or October. As of 9/24/2024, they have not committed to any site visit. We are still hopeful to get them to one of the next two sites.

Phebe is new to the position and asked a question on the definition of terms in the PMT portal. I was able to respond and provide feedback.

Gary is looking to connect with a healthcare professional to answer questions about lab testing blood prior to induction of MAT. Set up a call for 9/16 with a nurse from LaSalle County, IL, and Rulo team members.

Parkland Health requested information about the travel budget for the current fiscal year. Rulo advised that a COSSUP convening is being planned for 2025, and a travel budget should be available for that purpose.
