Proposed Activity: NAICJA proposes to conduct two (2), two-day Roundtable Conferences – one in Anchorage, Alaska, and one in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with proposed sessions outlined below.
The North-East PDMP Regional meeting was held on June 27-29 in Kansas City, Missouri. The regional meetings provide the opportunity for PDMP Administrators and staff to meet and strategize with their counterparts throughout this part of the country as well as learn about the latest national and local PDMP activities. The meeting featured expert-led presentations on predictive analytics, external data sources, prevention and treatment, law enforcement methods, and healthcare record integration.
The South-West PDMP Regional meeting was held on May 16-18 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The regional meetings provide the opportunity for PDMP Administrators and staff to meet and strategize with their counterparts throughout this part of the country as well as learn about the latest national and local PDMP activities. The meeting featured expert-led presentations on predictive analytics, external data sources, prevention and treatment, law enforcement methods, and healthcare record integration.
Deliverable 1: Documentation of national policy, practices, and technology solutions as developed by Global and the Criminal Intelligence Coordinating Council (CICC) as recommendations to BJA and the Attorney General.
Deliverable 2: Collaboration with partners to coordinate program design and delivery of services including training and technical assistance (TTA).
Deliverable 3: Planning and coordination with governmental and private agencies to support national initiatives.
In the previous reporting period, IIR continued to provide data analysis extracted from the learning management system (LMS) of user registration and training activity to BJA, upon request. IIR also continues to liaise with individual agencies that need technical assistance to register their users and to support the administration of the training throughout their agencies.
With the application period closed in July 2020, no further application submission activity occurred on the SWB website. However, the website was retained for purposes of providing answers to frequently asked questions or to provide a communication option for subaward recipients via the “Contact Us page.”
During the reporting period, the SWB website received 460 page views, 229 sessions, and 208 unique users.
The second phase of the VALOR Law Enforcement Resilience Training Program. This phase took a regional approach and brought multiple departments together to participate in the training hosted by IACP and the University of Pennsylvania. This phase of training was done in person.

This phase of training was done in person. For this hub there was one agencies that participated including Salt Lake City Police Department.
The PRC is contracting with Arkus, Inc. to review existing PRC Salesforce security settings and recommend changes according to standard security best practices. This includes reviewing user access to records and files, user session settings, login password security, multi-factor authentication for login, and record page layouts. In addition to these recommendations, Arkus, Inc. implemented a suite of security settings (Salesforce Shield) that strengthens the PRC's cybersecurity posture.
