The following activities occurred during this reporting period:
The Rural Learning Community series launched in February 2023, and continued monthly throughout this reporting period. More than 350 individuals registered for this series.The dates and topics of each Learning Community are as follows:
February 14, 2023 – Implementing Data-Driven Approaches to Addressing SUD in Rural Communities.
March 14, 2023 – Cross-Systems Partnerships to Address SUD in Rural Communities
Request onsie and virtual Safe and Respectful Management of Incarcerated Transgender Individuals training for select employees at the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections.
During this reporting period, in collaboration with BJA, the FTTA team began planning the first annual Forensics Program Grantees Meeting. BJA requested this inaugural event be virtual. The FTTA team drafted an agenda with significant input from BJA and submitted the appropriate documents for conference approval on June 30, 2023. The FTTA team also began internal conversations with the RTI development team about building the virtual event platform to host the event.
