NTTAC will fund two detectives from NOPD to attend DIVRT training.

The Milwaukee PSP site requested travel support for representatives from the Milwaukee PSP to attend the NPS SNA Symposium. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to two representatives from the Milwaukee PSP to attend the Symposium from May 5-11 in Monterrey, CA.

The Nashville, Tennessee Police Department (PD) requested an assessment of their homicide assessment and investigation practices. John Skaggs was selected to fulfill the request and conducted an assessment from April 30 to May 1, 2018, which involved meeting with homicide investigations, reviewing cases files, discussing best practices with leadership. Mr. Skaggs delivered a final report to Nashville PD in June 2018.

BJA NTTAC will be support travelers from the Baltimore State's Attorney's office to Chicago, Illinois

We would like to request the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys to provide our office with a training on the use of social media tools for criminal investigation and prosecution.

The Tucson, AZ Police department requested travel support for representatives from Tucson PD to participate in a peer-to-peer site visit with the New Orleans, LA Police Department. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to 3 representatives from the Tucson PD to participate in a peer-to-peer site visit from April 10 - 12 ,2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for representatives from Public Safety Partnership (PSP) sites to attend the Intelligence Driven Prosecution: An Innovation Summit. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for 1 individuals from the Milwaukee PSP site to attend the event from March 12 - 13, 2018 in New York, New York.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) requested that Christopher Bruce prepare and deliver a presentation at the Enhancing Crime Analysis Capacity Meeting. Mr. Bruce will deliver presentations on April 16 - 17, 2018 in Charlotte, North Carolina on the following topics: crime analysis efforts to address violent crime; leveraging police data; leveraging data integration and data expansion; data-centric approaches, tools, and analysis; and picking the right analysis, tools and practice to make the most of data.
