Provide ongoing assistance and support to grantees under the Upholding the Rule of Law & Preventing Wrongful Convictions program (both FY21 and FY22 grantees) through direct consultations and feedback, as well as connecting grantees to each other for more general and global assistance. We did no in-person meetings this term, only by phone or online. Several grantees did not want to have regular meetings, but preferred to reach out when they wanted assistance. All agencies were contacted for periodic check-ins.

The Quattrone Center will organize and conduct an online orientation meeting for all Recipients, to be held as soon after the award of BJA funds as practicable. This is anticipated to be a half-day meeting in webinar format, although it could be extended as necessary based on the topics of particular interest to Recipients.
Every month we host an online meeting open to all grantees and subgrantees. We provide the opportunity for grantee organizations to meet and discuss common issues. In addition, we bring in subject matter experts to discuss topics related to investigating and litigating wrongful conviction claims.
