A Law Enforcement Cyber Center (LECC) meeting was led by NW3C, with IACP representatives, BJA, law enforcement, and private sector in attendance. The meeting was held to discuss current LECC resources and what new areas need to be implemented to the site. Identifying AI resources to implement on the LECC was a large part of the conversation.

NW3C send staff Justin Fitzsimmons to present to the DuPAGE County Bar Association on a topic called, "Navigating the Digital Landscape: Accessing and Authenticating Social Media Evidence for Use Im Court". The presentation is described as, "In the intricate landscape of the digital age, the traditional principles of privacy under the Fourth Amendment have undergone a transformative evolution.

NW3C sent staff and facilitators to present at the 2024 National Cyber Crime Conference (NCCC) on the topic called, "AI Facilitated Tradecraft Part 2 - A Criminal Super Force Multiplier!". The presentation is described as, "This session will offer a focused look at the how AI is evolving criminal tradecraft and how those crimes have increased and become more complex to investigate and examine related evidence. This presentation will review specific cases studies to highlight lessons learned".

NW3C sent staff and facilitators to present at the 2024 National Cyber Crime Conference (NCCC) on the topic called, "Malware Analysis Part 2 - Investigating Ransomware Compromised Systems". The presentation is described as, "Want to understand malware analysis and how it can support your Digital Forensic Incident Response capacity? This two part session will start by giving you a solid look at ransomware analsysis in Part 1 then take you through tools and analsysis techniques for infected systems in Part 2.

NW3C sent staff and facilitators to present at the 2024 National Cyber Crime Conference (NCCC) on the topic called, "Putting the TRY, in Linux triage". The presentation is described as, "An abundance of tools and training exists for law enforcement officers tasked with triaging a live windows machine. However, despite its increasing consumer popularity the options for triage as it relates to a Linux device aren't as complete. Join the NW3C as they highlight several options for Linux triage, and what hurdles can be expected".

The presentation is described as, "You thought it was a car until you learned it was actually a very expensive cell phone with an engine and drivetrain. Come get a peak under the hood of our connected vehicle investigations course and understand the pervasive nature of vehicles and the digital evidence they create and phone home that can enhance your investigations".

The presentation is described as, "This is an NW3C and MA AGO listening session for SLTT LEAs/LEOs to better understand for DOJ BJA the impact that emerging IoT technology and related digital evidence is having on criminal justice in terms of wearables, connected vehicles and smart homes.

The presentation is described as, "How many of you have money apps like PayPal, Venmo, or Cashapp? Have you worked any investigations utilizing these vehicles for fraud? This workshop will help you learn what might be available to you when you obtain records via search warrant or legal service.
