January - June 2023: Meets monthly to identify and lend expertise on issues to rural public defense. the RDSC will be meeting in person in Nov. in Salt Lake City, UT and in the Spring of 2024.

July-December 2022: Developed preliminary findings and presented at NAPD Racial Justice Conference on November 2, 2022.
Provide scholarship funding totaling $32, 000 to defense practitioners.
January-June 2022: Provided Scholarship funding for 15 attendees for the ABA-SCLAID virtual conference, April 21-22, 2022 that focused on managed assigned counsel programs. Total scholarship amount was $750.00.
This is a research project that aims to document the national trends related to juror compensation and selection.
January to June 2022: The data has been aggregated into a spreadsheet. We are currently working to put the data on a map that allows individuals to compare and contrast by state.
July-December 2022: Data has been migrated to an interactive map. Map development is ongoing.
January - June 2023: Data has been uploaded and interactive map is in the testing stage.

January-June 2022: Received approval to begin providing TTA. Paula Hannaford and Bonnie Hoffman participated in a live training on ACVD including developing a hypothetical fact pattern for role playing and demonstration purposes. The agenda was as follows:
