Investigations
The Toledo, Ohio Police Department, as part of the Toledo National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the International Homicide Investigators Association’s “Advanced Homicide/Violent Crime Investigations Course.” BJA NTTAC provided travel support to one representative from the Toledo PSP site to attend the course from March 2–6, 2020 in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
The Oxford, Alabama Police Department (PD), as part of the Oxford Public Safety Partnership (PSP) sites, requested travel support for representatives to attend the FBI's DIVRT Training. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to two representatives from the Oxford PSP site to attend the conference from April 7 – 9, 2020 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. BJA NTTAC denied this request.
The Toledo, Ohio Police Department, as part of the Toledo National Public Safety Partnership site, requested travel support for one representative to attend the International Homicide Investigators Association’s “Basic Homicide Investigators Course” from March 16–20, 2020 in Sacramento, California. The event was canceled and the requestor withdrew the request.
The Saginaw, Michigan Police Department (PD) requested travel support for representatives to attend the International Homicide Investigators Association’s “Advanced Homicide/Violent Crime Investigations Course.” BJA NTTAC provided travel support to one representative from Saginaw PD to attend the course from March 2–6, 2020 in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
The Oxford, Alabama Police Department (PD), as part of the Anniston/Oxford National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the Los Angeles PD Crimefighters Conference from March 18–19, 2020 in Los Angeles, California. The event was canceled and the requestor withdrew the request.
