Law Enforcement
The Glendale, California Police Department requested information about approved masks specifically fit to be used by first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic. BJA NTTAC provided the requestor with applicable resources from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and their local health department.
The Toledo, Ohio Police Department, as part of the Toledo National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the International Homicide Investigators Association’s “Advanced Homicide/Violent Crime Investigations Course.” BJA NTTAC provided travel support to one representative from the Toledo PSP site to attend the course from March 2–6, 2020 in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
The Anniston, Alabama Police Department, as part of the Anniston/Oxford National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the Federal Bureau of Investigations’ “Cellular Analysis Survey Team” training. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to one representative from the Anniston PSP site to attend the training from February 12–13, 2020 in San Bernardino, California.
The Oxford, Alabama Police Department (PD), as part of the Oxford Public Safety Partnership (PSP) sites, requested travel support for representatives to attend the FBI's DIVRT Training. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to two representatives from the Oxford PSP site to attend the conference from April 7 – 9, 2020 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. BJA NTTAC denied this request.
BJA requested travel support for representatives to attend the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Cellular Analysis Survey Training (CAST). BJA NTTAC provided travel support to one representative from the Davenport PSP site to attend the FBI CAST from February 12-13, 2020 in San Bernardino, California.
