The Davenport, Iowa Police Department, as part of the Davenport National Public Safety Partnership site, requested travel support for one representative to attend the International Homicide Investigators Association’s “Basic Homicide Investigators Course” from March 16–20, 2020 in Sacramento, California. The event was canceled and the requestor withdrew the request.
The Indianapolis, Indiana Police Department (PD), as part of the Indianapolis Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested registration funding for representatives to attend the IACP online training course. BJA NTTAC provided funding for one reponeresentative from the Indianapolis PSP site to attend the conference from June 24-25, 2020 virtually.
The Baltimore, Maryland Police Department, as part of the Baltimore National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for three representatives to attend the Los Angeles PD Crimefighters Conference from March 18–19, 2020 in Los Angeles, California. The event was canceled and the requestor withdrew the request.
The Houston Police Department requested support for one representative to attend the 2020 International Homicide Investigators Association 27th Annual Training Symposium. The requestor withdrew the request.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) requested subject matter experts to develop a curriculum about crime gun intelligence (CGI) investigations. Michael Eberhardt and Kevin Armbruster were selected to fulfill the request and delivered the revised CGI curriculum to BJA in May 2019.
