Bill Watson (CODIS Administrator for Albuquerque PD) called with questions about what constitutes a kit being "submitted" vs. "unsubmitted." He also asked about the timeframe for which kits are eligible under SAKI grant funding. Finally, we discussed data metrics and how the New Mexico Dept. of Public Safety also having SAKI funding will affect the Albuquerque grant. He will follow up with an in-depth email with any more questions or clarifications that APD needs to be addressed.

CT is requesting a training for all State Prosecutors. They would like to focus on how to prosecute cold case sexual assaults.

SAKI TTA will assist CT in designing a training for sexual assault Investigators on the Neurobiology of Trauma and Trauma Informed Interviewing. In addition, CT will present on their SAKI project to highlight the scope, objectives, and goals to the investigators that will be working on the CT SAKI cases.
