The Oakland Police Department (PD), as part of the Oakland/Richmond VRN site, requests the Blue Courage Executive Overview training for command staff and the Blue Courage Academy for up to 35 participants. The Blue Courage training courses will provide self-improvement, increased engagement, stress management, development of resilience, and improvement of the overall health and well-being of all employees in the department.

The Newark VRN site requests two Blue Courage training courses for the Newark
Police Department, each of which will include up to 30 participants. The Blue Courage
training courses will help participants with self-improvement, increased engagement,
stress management, development of resilience, and improve their overall health and
well-being.

The Wilmington VRN site requests training for Wilmington Police Department’s (PD) crime analysts. The analysts will attend a week-long Introduction to Crime Analysis training offered by Temple University’s (PA) Center for Security and Crime Science. Individuals from Camden County (NJ) Police Department and Newark (NJ) Police Department will also attend the training. Crime analysts from the Baltimore (MD) Police Department have been invited, and other neighboring jurisdictions may also be invited to participate.

BJA NTTAC will pay for travel expenses for six members of the Detroit VRN team to travel to El Paso, TX to meet with staff at the El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC). Detroit VRN will send representatives from the Detroit Police Department, Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, and Detroit Public Schools Police Department.

Technical assistance with the implementation of The Drug Market Intervention evidence-based model. This engagement consisted of one day of training, and one day of individual follow-up meetings with stakeholder agencies. Training participants consisted of mainly Camden County Police Department officers (and other ranks), other Camden County personnel, as well as members from the Newark (NJ) VRN site, Wilmington (DE) VRN site, and West Memphis (AR) VRN site.
