Tyrina attended and moderated a session on the Peers Role in Prevention Wednesday, March 6th. The presentation explored the feasibility of police and fire departments mapping all drug overdoses and interactions to provide intervention for help and improve access to services and referrals and pilot a data-driven proactive rapid response team in Winnebago County that aims to prevent overdose deaths. One of the greatest assets of the app is the connection to the Solutions Peer Response Team (SPRT) which is the group of people that answer the "talk to someone" feature.
