In April 2024 there were meetings with 31 carryover grantees. This number is somewhat low compared to other months in the reporting period, but many grantees unable to meet in April met with us early in May. Also met with 14 FY23 grantees.

As a result of the DHS–IACP Intelligence Summit held in Alexandria, Virginia, in September 2022, the after-action report published in later 2022, and in consultation with Global DFO, GAC and CICC leadership, CICC members voted on and approved the DHS proposal to initiate a project to address the findings and to advance the recommendations as identified during the Summit. Work on the task teams continued during the current reporting period.

The Restorative Justice Education in Treatment Courts project includes a pilot site collaborating with a mid-coast Maine drug treatment court (Belfast, ME) and a local community-based restorative justice center (Restorative Justice Project Maine) to help the Maine drug court infuse restorative justice principles and practices into the program approach. Robert Sand and Marc Wennberg hosted a three-day planning summit in Maine in late June 2024.

Tyrina met with Michelle Geiser with Hope Coalition to share with her the rematch of new mentee following Rimrocks withdrawal from the mentoring initiative - an extra meeting.
