"Objective 5: Place data analysts in residence at State DOCs to increase the utility of data for decision-making while also building the corrections analyst workforce.   In February, CSG Justice Center staff continued to support the analyst in Wyoming. In Wyoming, the resident analyst continued her progress on the dashboard, meeting with several more internal stakeholders with updated prototypes."

"Objective 5: Place data analysts in residence at State DOCs to increase the utility of data for decision-making while also building the corrections analyst workforce.   In February, CSG Justice Center staff continued to support the analyst in Louisiana. The RCA continued to become familiar with the Corrections Information and Program Record System (CIPRS) and project planning.

CSG Justice Center staff have been taking the lead on drafting the fact sheet to ensure clear messaging and impact.

In April, CSG Justice Center staff worked internally with leadership to edit the round 2 briefs (AL, VT, MT, WY) and sent the AL brief to BJA for an associate-level review. Â

In March, CSG Justice Center staff continued developing the state briefs. Round 1 briefs (GA, MO, RI) are with BJA Communications for edits and feedback in the design layout, and Round 2 briefs (AL, VT, MT, WY) are with internal CSG Justice Center leadership for review.

In February, CJI and CSG Justice Center staff updated language regarding the JRI state map on the website to denote BJA-funded states. In addition, CSG Justice Center and CJI staff worked with BJA to approve and update the language for the “Other JRI-Funded Projects” section on the individual state pages. Lastly, CJI and CSG Justice Center staff continued working on revisions to the round two state briefs. CJI staff shared their remaining briefs with BJA.
