1/8/24 - Video call with Brooks Louton (Assistant Professor, School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, ASU), Joseph Llanes (Resident Analyst, CCJBH), Kamilah Holloway (Research Scientist, CCJBH), Jessica Camacho Duran (MPH Health Program Specialist, CCJBH), and Brenda Grealish (Executive Officer, CCJBH) to discuss the protocols and the use case scenarios Joseph is developing for the project. (5 people in attendance representing 2 agencies)

1/3/24 - Video call with Julie Dames-Ryan (Grants Administrator, WADOC) and Brooke Hays (Management Analyst, WADOC) to discuss progress on goals and objectives. WADOC shared the challenges of having the specialty DV docket in place. WADOC also shared that they received approval from BJA to transition the program to people with DV-related charges who are pending release. (2 people in attendance representing 1 agency)

2 video conferences in January with 3 participants representing 1 agency.

1/12/24 - Video conference with Thea Mounts (Chief Data Officer, WADOC) and Julie Dames-Ryan (Grants Manager, WADOC) to discuss how to staff the project proposal involving data mining and machine learning and next steps on the project. (2 people in attendance representing 1 agency)

Objective 7: Develop training, resources, and communities of practice to implement standards.

CSG Justice Center staff delivered a presentation and answered questions from attendees on the Justice Counts project and the public feedback opportunity specifically. This session was designed for a general audience with no specific relationship to the criminal justice system.
