3/26/24 - Video conference with Kelli McAfee (Director, Conventions, Advertising, and Corporate Relations) and Rob Green (Executive Director) of the American Correctional Association to discuss opportunities to hold the Virtual Academy conference during the ACA conference in August. (2 participants representing 1 agency)
5/21/24 – Video conference with Kelli McAfee (Director, Conventions, Advertising, & Corporate Relations, ACA) and Stevyn Fogg (Director of Governance & Strategic Initiatives, CLA) to discuss planning for the ADC/CLA/ACA conference and receive insight on the best methods for inviting participants. This included creating an invitation list and determining the best method to formulate invites. (2 participants representing 2 agencies)
6/13/24 - Video call with Reena Chakraborty (Chief of Strategic Planning & Analysis) at the Washington, D.C., DOC to inform her of the seminar series and invite her to facilitate virtual seminars on content related to data-driven strategies in corrections research.
