Attend the IJIS Mid-Summer Briefing and Security Coordinating Council (SCC) meeting as a Global technical representative. Staff will participate in the meeting and learn about current IJIS activities on behalf of Global.
Provided support to PA, MD,DC, DE as they move forward with establishing their governance structure and implement federated search.
IIR supports the efforts of the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s (BJA) Justice Information Sharing (JIS) Training and Technical Assistance Committee (JTTAC) through the planning, agenda development, hosting, and action item follow-up of standing bi-monthly conference calls.

During this planning session, GESC members will map Global’s plan of action for the next 12 to 18 months, resulting in action items, outcomes, and takeaways, including: consensus on Global groups’, councils’, and task teams’ business plans to ensure mutually supportive approaches, avoid duplicative efforts, and better integrate Global activities with the priorities, opportunities, and guidance conveyed by BJA leaders and other justice partners; prioritization of Global projects, to assist in resource allocation; formal voting on proposed resolutions and resources, if applicable, and determ
IIR staff members maintain regular contact with the chair and vice chair of the Global Advisory Committee (GAC), as well as with the Designated Federal Official of Global, to ensure that Global Executive Steering Committee (GESC) Planning Sessions are adequately prepared for, including arrangement of meeting logistics, development of meeting agendas, follow-up of assignments and action items from previous meetings, notification to membership of meeting logistics and agenda items to be discussed, facilitation of the meetings, documentation of meeting proceedings, and processing of reimbursem
