IIR staff members maintain regular contact with the chair and vice chair of the Global Advisory Committee (GAC), as well as with the Designated Federal Official of Global, to ensure that Global Executive Steering Committee (GESC) Planning Sessions are adequately prepared for, including arrangement of meeting logistics, development of meeting agendas, follow-up of assignments and action items from previous meetings, notification to membership of meeting logistics and agenda items to be discussed, facilitation of the meetings, documentation of meeting proceedings, and processing of reimbursem

On November 29−30, premier leaders and practitioners from across the justice landscape convened for the Fall 2016 Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative (Global) Advisory Committee (GAC, Committee) Meeting at the Office of Justice Programs offices. To maximize resources and provide opportunities for Global engagement by an even greater range of subject-matter experts (SME), the majority of hands-on Committee efforts are conducted virtually.

NW3C staff attended the 2016 American Society of Criminoloy Annual Meeting. While there, NW3C hosted a meeting of the White Collar Crime Research Consortium (WCCRC). The WCCRC is being included as an official division within ASC (the Division of White Collar and Corporate Crime).

Attended and presented at the MCCA Fall Meeting. The MCCA Fall meeting is held for two days immediately before the annual conference of IACP.

The Major Cities Chiefs Association meets three times a year. Chiefs may bring staff members to attend thee meetings. Law enforcement staff members are allowed in all meeting segments with the exception of Executive Sessions. Official representatives of governmental agencies are normally invited to attend all sessions with the exception of the Executive Sessions.

In real-life implementation projects we have learned that .NET developers regularly struggle with implementing WS-Security standards in .NET. The goal of this project is to produce an open source adapter, in .NET, that implements the GRA/GFIPM secure web service profiles. Upon completion of this project, SEARCH will make available an open source secure web service adapter, written in .NET.

Received a request from BJA on behalf of S. Korea for information about JIEM - looking for related research that quantitatively measures the impact of JIEM, for example, increase in government worker's productivity after implementing JIEM.

The goal of this TTA engagement is the review of issues related to developing a common charge resource that can be used by all criminal justice agencies with Santa Clara and Alameda counties.

The goal of this engagement is to provide the Coconino County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) with an assessment of information technology services to ensure that they are meeting criminal justice and public safety best-practices and standards. The CCSO seeks recommendations that allow CCSO staff to access critical CJIS data as well as access needed County services seamlessly.
