On August 18, 2014 IIR’s provided a presentation, titled Interlock Data: Privacy and Security, at the 2014 International Interlock Symposium, hosted by the Traffic Injury Research Foundation in Washington, DC. The presentation featured the following topics: Do interlock clients have an expectation of privacy and security of their collected data; What issues might arise; Security requirements for other sensitive data; Privacy laws and guidelines for other sensitive data; Recommendations for state authorities; and Recommendations for vendors.

The goal of this project is to provide a publication that illustrates the need for an information sharing strategic plan and describes the enterprise strategic planning methodology. JULY-DECEMBER 2014 SUMMARY: SEARCH published a white paper that describes the importance of strategic planning and defines terms used for strategic planning.
