National Reentry Resource Center (NRRC) staff and Dr. Faye Taxman and Amy Murphy from the Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence! (ACE!) at George Mason University (GMU) conducted a training on the RNR Simulation Tool and facilitated conversations about how the tool fits into RESET case management and action items for the sustainability of RESET.?
On the first day of the site visit, Ms. Murphy presented aggregate data on client characteristics based on initial entries and reassessments into the Assess an Individual (AAI) portal. NRRC staff and Ms. Murphy then facilitated a conversation about how the enrolled client population compares to the target population and how client needs are matched to services in the community. The team then discussed information sharing processes among the collaborating agencies for RESET, and NRRC staff facilitated a discussion about how information from criminogenic needs and behavioral health assessments is incorporated into case and treatment plans. Dr. Taxman, Ms. Murphy, and staff discussed quality assurance processes for programming in RESET and options for the team for improving those processes.?
On the second day of the site visit, Ms. Murphy, with NRRC staff facilitated a conversation on data collection and program evaluation for RESET and discussed with the team plans for program sustainability.?
