How do you anticipate that the requested assistance will address the problems?
The assistance will fund travel expenses and associated costs to retain Pastor Jeff Brown's services for training our local clergy and congregations. Pastor Brown is a recognized leader and trainer in this field and his name recognition locally would greatly assist us in maintaining the momentum we have for Operation Ceasefire. The message is violence reduction, not ministering or religious in nature, so the training is specific on how to conduct the night walks in this manner.

Faith based training specific to the Operation Ceasefire model piloted in Boston. Rev. Jeff Brown of Boston's Ten-Point Coalition would provide training to the faith-based community on peace walks and high risk individual mentoring.
