Objective 7: Facilitate the adoption and implementation of Justice Counts in additional states. (Light Touch States)
In Indiana CSG Justice Center staff were on site to meet with the Madison County JRAC, the Indiana State Police Department, Concerned Clergy, the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute, the Indiana Prosecuting Attorney's Council and the Indiana Public Defense Council, and to present to the Jennings and Harrison County JRACs. The Jennings County Probation Department opted in during the trip. CSG Justice Center staff met off site with Warrick County Public Defender and the Cass County JRAC to collaborate on potential data products. CSG Justice Center staff also introduced the project to the Davies County Community Corrections, who opted in, and conducted onboarding sessions with the Decatur County Court Services.?
In?Iowa?CSG Justice Center staff discussed potential data products with the Ames Police Department and conducted an onboarding session with the Winterset Police Department.??
In?Louisiana?CSG Justice Center staff introduced the project to the Thibodaux Police Department.
In?Missouri, CSG Justice Center staff introduced the project to the Kansas City Police Department, conducted onboarding sessions with the Morgan County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, and met with the Missouri Department of Corrections to provide an update on public-facing dashboard and data-sharing.?
In Pennsylvania, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Delaware County Public Defender's Office to introduce the project.?
In Utah, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Utah Commission on Criminal & Juvenile Justice to introduce the project.??
In?Vermont, the Department of Corrections opted in.
In Washington, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Washington Department of Corrections and the Washington Institute for Criminal Justice at Washington State University to introduce the project.?
