The PDMP TTAC team consistently delivers technical assistance to PDMP administrators, staff, and other stakeholders, responding to information requests and facilitating peer-to-peer communication. These efforts help identify potential resources and technical assistance needs as PDMPs evolve, enabling the PDMP TTAC team to proactively develop and implement the most efficient and effective delivery methods. During this reporting period, PDMP TTAC staff addressed 201 requests on a variety of topics, including interstate data sharing, electronic health record integration, authorized PDMP users, comprehensive prescription drug tracking, PDMP reporting standards, data reporting compliance issues, Overdose Fatality Review teams, the impact of telemedicine on PDMPs, proposed federal regulations, and general PDMP policies and capabilities. Technical assistance was provided through various formats, such as conference calls, detailed emails, research documents, webinars, and virtual meetings.
Resources developed during the reporting period in support of PDMPs include the following:
