Coordination continued with program partner the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) on the instructional design, development, re-structuring, and refreshing of SLATT curriculum and eLearning courses. All seven modules of the basic SLATT online eLearning course have cleared the Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR) quality control process and are pending upload into the IIR LMS. The seven modules are described as follows: “The Role of Law Enforcement in Preventing Terrorism, Targeted Violence, and Hate Crimes” (Module 1); “Defining the Threat” (Module 2A); “Tactics and Targets” (Module 2B); “Policy Implications including Privacy, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties” (Module 3); “Law Enforcement and Intelligence Partners and Systems” (Module 4); “Investigation and Prevention” (Module 5); “Response” (Module 6); and “Terrorism, Targeted Violence, and Hate Crimes: Key Concepts” (Module 7).
