The PDMP TTAC team regularly coordinates conference calls for PDMP administrators to connect and discuss issues such as system enhancements, technical assistance, and promising practices. PDMP TTAC staff members facilitated and participated on the following conference calls during this reporting period:
• One conference call with representatives from PDMPs that control most aspects of their PDMPs in-house rather than utilizing vendors. Discussion focused on implementation of processes to collect 42 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 2 data.
• Two conference calls with representatives from IJIS and Tetra Corporation to discuss status, progress, and support on interstate data sharing and integration projects related to the RxCheck Hub.
• Four conference calls with representatives from the CDC and Indian Health Services on health record integration.
• Two conference calls with IIR’s OFR Team TTA providers and OFR grantees in reference to OFR teams accessing PDMP data.
• Two conference calls with PDMP representatives to make recommendations to revise the current performance measurements for the BJA Harold Rogers PDMP grants.
• Sixteen conference calls with the Health Level 7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) work group to develop specifications for PDMPs to electronically exchange health care information via FHIR.
