On Sept. 2023, we received an application from the Ada County, Idaho PD office. they request subject matter expert assistance in implementing a training curriculum that will focus on attorneys with various levels of experience.
Jan-June 2024: Met with Amy Mitchell who puts together training for their office on an informal basis and was expected to become office training director Contact is Amy Mitchell, admitchell@adacounty.id.gov website is https://adacounty.id.gov/publicdefender/. However, Idaho is transitioning to a state public defender system, and I haven’t had any contact yet with their newly appointed state public defender, so it is unclear what their agency training will consist of or if Amy Mitchell will have a position as their office training director.

By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
