The national workshop includes two attendees from each state and territory, one in state administration and the other in RSAT direct care. It will provide a valuable opportunity to share information, network with other RSAT corrections healthcare professionals, and learn about the latest evidence-based findings in RSAT programming. Plenary and breakout sessions will include Federal Drug Policy Priorities; Collaborating with Other BJA Grantees; RSAT Reentry Challenges; Emerging Issues Facing RSAT Programming: Teleservices, Tapping Rural Resources, HIV/AIDS, Overdose Prevention, Trauma, Vets; and MAT: Working with State Behavioral Health Agencies to Develop Community-Based Treatment for Justice-Involved Clients.

A conference call was scheduled and conducted on 2/25 for Tim Jeffries, the RSAT Policy Advisor, to speak with eight RSAT state administrators. Discussion centered on the format, current issues, workshops, and potential speakers.
