In this session, we will consider the dimensions of appropriateness and how they can be incorporated into an implementation plan. Appropriateness refers to whether one believes, has an opinion, or feels that the innovation should be part of an agency’s process or system design. Too often, we fail to consider whether others believe the innovation is correct for an agency or even the overall system. The IAM helps measure this. This session will also focus on some simple social marketing strategies aimed at developing techniques to effectively communicate with and influence not only the target audience but also the general population.
