The Upper Midwest Community Policing Institute (UMCPI) is a Minnesota 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.  UMCPI is committed to the advancement of excellence in policing and public safety. We provide public safety agencies with the knowledge,skills and best practices needed to serve their communities and build public trust. Our training and consulting services are built on the key principles of communication, collaboration, ethical solutions, and community partnerships. Our team is comprised of experienced public safety and private sector professionals who bring academic and real world solutions to today’s challenges.
