8/10 Introductory call was held to discuss the grantee's pre-arrest diversion program and discuss CHJ's TTA support. Some challenges identified included: only OD calls are being referred to MAARI; Lack of standardization, policies and procedures, eligibility criteria; program lacks clarity; Lack of data collection; Getting stakeholders to meet and have discussions as a group (organizational cultures clashing); the need to streamline the referral process to reduce time between initial contact and engagement.
