Grantee reached out request TTA appropriate to their current stage of program development and to review some of theirchallenges, and see if there are resources or connections we could direct them to. Call was scheduled for 8.10.21

8/10 Introductory call was held to discuss the grantee's pre-arrest diversion program and discuss CHJ's TTA support. Some challenges identified included: only OD calls are being referred to MAARI; Lack of standardization, policies and procedures, eligibility criteria; program lacks clarity; Lack of data collection; Getting stakeholders to meet and have discussions as a group (organizational cultures clashing); the need to streamline the referral process to reduce time between initial contact and engagement. August 31, 2021 6:14 P.M. ET Call 8/31 continue the discussion of the complexities of pre-arrest diversion- determining eligibility and defining compliance. Discuss examples of existing program's policies and procedures. Recommended that Betsy supply a draft to the stakeholder group of her suggested policies and procedures. CHJ reviewed Betsy's draft policies and procedures documents and made suggestions.
