After SC asked and was granted an extension until the end of January for the final "straggling" group of COVID- or other-delayed agencies, one underwent an audit and revealed that they may not be able to provide their numbers until several months onward.

One of several of the last agencies to submit a partially-tested inventory underwent an audit and has let the state grant administration know that they may not be able to provide final partial numbers for several months.
The grant administration needs to figure out how comfortable they are on the budget, which entails sorting out SAKI Bode invoices from non-SAKI (necessary due to state- or Bode-level confusion).
After speaking to TTA team, SL has asked that MD team submit a brief memo stating the problem. They would prefer to have only one outstanding agency, but by the time that agency aims to get their inventory submitted, the grant will be almost finished (assuming MD does not reapply).
SL, Pattie/Crystal, SC (Jessica Williams) and three MCASA representatives met to discuss inventory extension.
-MD submitted a memo to TTA.
SL to bring extension up to BJA at Thursday 2/5 meeting to ask for a call and permission to extend/possibly release funds.
During weekly BJA call, SL introduced idea of extended inventory for Salisbury (agency undergoing an evidence room audit). It would be the only one, and SL passed on site's recommendation that site finish all remaining Phase IV "straggler" agencies and move Salisbury alone to a Phase V.
Angela suggested that full funds be released, rather than MD waiting for funding to be released for several months based on one site's delay, especially since MD is only funded by an FY18 grant and if no NCE awarded, grant will end around same time that inventory will be finished. BJA well aware that MD has been doing their absolute best to complete inventory and that state-level grantee is not responsible for delay.
At Lauren Troy's (BJA) request, after handing on MD's memo describing possible inventory extension, SL also forwarded Lauren past inventory checklists for Phases I, II, and III; BJA's approvals of those three checklists; and MD's proposal for the phased inventory in general.
Lauren wrote back to Ruthie thanking her for this information.
Lauren wrote to Jackie Adams (MD grant administrator) and CCd SL, asking site to provide a brief explanation of proposed grant activities in the next six months that would require this extension.
After Maryland delivered their Phase IV inventory (excluding Salisbury, which is known to be delayed), it was approved. Maryland's inventory is complete except for Salisbury and their funding has been released.
As of late June, the Salisbury inventory is not submitted to the Maryland team or to BJA. The audit is expected to wrap up shortly and the team expects these numbers by mid-July.
