The Colorado legislature has launched the Denver Discovery Task Force to gain more control and visibility into the discovery process between prosecution and public defense personnel. The Discovery Task Force has defined the need for an automated/technical solution (e.g. a "cloud solution") whereas digital data from law enforcement record management systems is shared with the courts and associated attorney's. The desired solution will efficiently and effectively support sharing disovery information from all law enforcement agencies through the 22 judicial systems and onto the appropriate defense authority.
