This panel will convene experts for a second time to review the survey instrument (law enforcement and first responder diversion programs survey), survey mode, marketing plan, and contact strategies. The panel will consist of persons familiar with the operational models of law enforcement/first responder programs in the United States. They will provide feedback, which will be incorporated into the final drafts of the questionnaire and the survey contact strategy. The national survey will compile data on law enforcement/first responder diversion programs that have been created to serve individuals with substance use disorders, primarily opioid use disorder. This meeting and the work of this group supports the Attorney General's priority of fighting the opioid epidemic.
