Prosecutorial representatives from PSP sites Kansas City, Birmingham, Tulsa, and Memphis attended the Intelligence-Driven Prosecution Symposium hosted by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 29-30, 2019. This symposium seeks to connect prosecutors and law enforcement officials from jurisdictions across the U.S. to focus on the future of criminal justice, share best practices, and develop modern strategies for crime reduction. The Symposium focused on innovation in prosecution, and featured presentations and panel discussions on reform measures. Additional topics included alternatives to incarceration, reentry initiatives, and the intersection of public health and the criminal justice system.
