Conference with representatives of the 14 West region PDMPs to meet and strategize with regional PDMP Administrators and obtain information on what is happening with PDMPs both nationally and locally
LAC was asked to participate in a best practices school for the New England Institute of Addiction Studies in August 2014. LAC was asked to develop and conduct a plenary presentation and a day-long training on various issues related to health insurance coverage and access to care, including for the justice-involved population. Expectation was that NEIAS attendees would obtain additional knowledge and understanding of various aspects of implementation of the Affordable Care Act as a result of the plenary presentation and intensive training session.
BJA's TA providers for the RSAT program, Advocates for Human Potential, requested LAC to participate in two presentations at their July 2014 meeting in Chicago. LAC was asked to develop and conduct presentations on various issues related to health insurance coverage and access to care for the justice-involved population. Expectation was that RSAT grantees' knowledge and understanding of various aspects of implementation of the Affordable Care Act would be increased as a result of the two presentations.
PDMP TTAC educational webinar series concerning Category 3 grants; overview of current grantee projects and future plans.
Provide a wide range of office based assistance, including response to inquires, networking referrals, preparation of brief background memos, extended assistance, etc. This is an ongoing project.
This Meeting was convened to specifically address the topic of data-sharing, best practices, and data sharing pilot's impact on drug treatment, law enforcement efforts and public health.
