Obtained a booth at the IACP Conference to provide information about the VALOR programs.
Half of state-level sites were offered the change to explain one challenge, one success, and one goal of their progress in a round-table fashion. Sites proceeded in alphabetical order and those not present were pushed to the February round table.
"During their Q3 check-in Call, Chuck from Delaware State Police Mentioned that they would like some guidance on how to track long-term outcomes of their diversion program, and overcoming inconsistent data points from different sources such as criminal justice system, community organizations, behavioral health organizations, etc.
9/5/24: Held TA Call with Chuck, Joel, and evaluator Dan. Had productove discussion about goals and next steps for tracking program outcomes long-term."
"FY22 Law Enforcement grantees. Subgrantees shared sucesses, including increased referrals for their diversion programs, and efforts to get local businesses to agree to naloxone training for staff (e.g. starbucks). This might be a good topic for a CoP. Melissia offered advice such as considering locally owned businesses (to not have to deal with national corporate office policies), and to use EMS response time to make a case for naloxone training.
Met with State agencies and subgrantee program directors to hear about updates, including that two of three sites will be continuing their programs through opioid settlement funds after the award ends. Provided information and deadlines for final deliverables.
Attended the Annual All-Site meeting and heard updated from all subgrantees, and re-intriduced our team and RTI's role on the project. Also presented the COSSUP resource center.

Met with state agency to discuss updates such. A few sites have begun their LE deflection training program and others are preparing to start. All subgrantees are onboarded and submitted budgets. No TTA needs at this time.
Recevied an email from someone on the Clemson team requesting implicit bias training for their COSSUP staff. Sent over a BJA-approved webinar on Implicit Bias from Fox Valley Community College. They responded saying it was exactly what they were looking for.
