The grantee site requested to engage the Rapid City grantee site, to learn more about their responses to homelessness. IACP facilitated an introduction to the site.
IACP staff shared this webinar opportunity with the grantee site, considering its interest in combatting homelessness. The IACP forwarded some webinars to the site.
IACP created the IACP BCJI TTA Program's Resource Directory for an FY21 grantee, and also provided it to this site.
After the IACP submitted the site's Action Plan to BJA, BJA sent the site some corrections to incorporate. The site solicited the IACP's review of the updated Budget, and the IACP reviewed the updated budget to ensure it aligned with BJA's feedback.
IACP staff reviewed the site's first Action Plan draft and provided suggestions on how to enhance content.
The site inquired if they could possible hire a new part-time site coordinator. After reviewing project materials, IACP informed the site they would need to hire a full time coordinator.
The site is expecting to have to do an audit after the completion of their grant. They requested information from IACP about whether they can use funds after the lifecycle of the grant to fund the audit. IACP passed the question on to BJA, then followed up with the site.
The Baltimore site coordinator posted on BCJI Connect, requestin resources on cyber-bullying. Peers responded to the thread, and the IACP team provided additional resources.
The site requested that IACP attend the final planning meeting for the site's Action Plan. IACP staff received approval from leadership to attend the meeting. IACP staff visited the site on Wednesday, June 1, and observed the meeting and provided guidance. Following the meeting, IACP participated in a tour of the target area, including the Calhoun Center, which is the focus of the grantee site's Action Plan. From these activities, IACP identified oppotunities to support the site with the Action Plan and Implementation Phase of the project.
As the site is gearing up to deploy a community survey, the IACP forwarded an article on the Erie site's dynamic survey deployment plan for practitoner's consideration.
