Review and Evaluation of NE 2019 Strategic Plan
IACP hosted “Diagnosing and Addressing Criminal Justice Culture for the Purpose of Change and Implementation: The IDEATE™ Framework (IDEATE90)," presented by Glen Tapia, for all sites. IACP sent invitations prior to the event, as well as a reminder.
The site requested that Dr. Tamara Herold join a monthly call to discuss CPTED strategies for a space the site is planning on repurposing. IACP scheduled a TA call with Dr. Herold for 01/11/2020.
The site requested input from IACP on their plan for logo and branding development. IACP provided feedback.
The site requested a TA call with Aqeela Sherrills to discuss launching a Public Safety Roundtable. IACP facilitated the meeting.
IACP TTA staff identified the Philadelphia FY18 site as a potential match for this peer-to-peer call. IACP staff reached out to the Philadelphia site to schedule the call.
IACP staff held a call with the site coordinator to discuss the difficulties that arose during their cross-sector team meeting, and provide insight from other sites.
IACP assessed its access to subject matter experts who fit what the Orangeburg site is looking for. IACP offered to set up another peer-to-peer call with Dr. Corsaro and the research team at the Wandersman Center. IACP also offered to set up a call with one of the research practitioners currently working with the FY18 CBCR sites. The Orangeburg team decided to have another meeting with Dr. Corsaro, and IACP set up, then facilitated a call between the site and Dr. Corsaro. Dr. Corsaro agreed to future calls to discuss their evaluation plans in greater detail.
IACP POC informed the site they would contact Dr. Tamara Herold to see if she could be on a call to discuss data-driven, place-based strategies.
IACP compiled information on the Escondido site's efforts around utilizing virtual platforms, then sent this information to the site.
