Denver Police Department to organize a training specifically for law enforcement on how to do long term investigations when there are limited resources. Focusing primarily on trauma informed/victim centered practices and strategies for enhancing human trafficking investigations. They are looking for a trainer who is currently or previously law enforcement who can really give the detective/investigator perspective to see what they have done in their agency to overcome those issues in their jurisdiction. Reached out to IACP for ideas for trainers.

Technical assistance statistics of Task Force Connect, an online community of practice for the 29 DOJ funded ECM human trafficking task forces, developed exclusively for the task forces to provide peer to peer support. These statistics showcase engagement throughout this reporting period from task force members within the community.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested support for a subject matter expert to facilitate a one-day session on the GunStat model. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to John Skinner to facilitate the session with the Chicago, Illinois PD on January 23, 2019.
