Det. Alexander emailed with questions completing their inventory. "We are conducting our inventory on SAKs for the grant. In reading the packet which describes the process and what to count, I want to make sure we are doing things correctly. We have all of the case numbers, victim ages at time of crime, SOL affected cases, collection date, and offense date. I see that on page 11 under inventory guidance, it mentions ?victim name? also be collected. We will not be including the victims? names.

Christi Wigle from United Against Slavery requested a phone consultation for the Hamblen County Sheriff's Office to help guide, assist, and provide tips on investigating potential labor trafficking or exploitation allegations brought forward. The IACP reached out to Megan Bruneau at the Seattle Police Department, a labor trafficking subject matter expert, and connected them to provide assistance.
On January 30, 2019, OVC invited the IACP to participate in their Innovation Lab for victim service providers working on human trafficking related grants. The IACP was available to provide resources and respond to technical assistance requests.
