During the January - June 2019 reporting period, IIR coordinated and hosted presenters from the New York Police Department (NYPD) and Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) for a webinar in March focused on victim assistance. Topics included victim assistance practices, programs, and resources available to law enforcement agencies.

During the January - June 2019 reporting period, IIR conducted planning, logistical support, and coordination for representatives from PSP site Kansas City, Missouri, to visit the Tampa, Florida, Police Department to learn more about how Tampa implemented its focused deterrence program. Kansas City was particularly interested in learning about how Tampa developed the scoring metric used to identify individuals as part of the Violent Impact Player (VIP) list.

The Milwaukee, Wisconsin Police Department (PD), as part of the Milwaukee Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the 019 Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Units (LEIU) and International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA) Joint Training Conference. ​BJA NTTAC provided travel support to two representatives from the Milwaukee PSP site to attend the conference from April 29 - May 3, 2019 in Orlando, Florida. ​

Detective Alexander called with a question regarding if they have to test all of the kits in their inventory. Lisa will work with Crystal and BJA to get the appropriate response back to Det. Alexander/Fresno PD.
