The Milwaukee, Wisconsin Police Department (MPD), as part of the Milwaukee Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for three representatives to attend the Nashville, Tennessee Family Safety Center. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to three representatives from the Milwaukee PSP site to attend the peer exchange on July 16, 2019 10 – 15, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee.

During the January - June 2019 reporting period, IIR conducted planning, logistical support, and coordination for representatives from the Miami, Florida, Police Department to participate in a PSP peer-to-peer visit with the City of New Orleans, Louisiana, Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) in June. During this visit, PSP Miami was able to learn the intricate details of an RTCC from the camera feeds to criminal databases when criminal activity occurs and how to manage and operate it.

IIR provided logistical support for the planning and coordination of the 2019 LAPD Crime Fighters Conference. PSP site participants from Miami, Tulsa, Kansas City, and Houston attended the Los Angeles PD’s Crime Fighters Conference on February 6-7, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. During the first day of the conference, participants discussed and learned about topics such as CompStat, the Community Safety Operations center (CSOC) concept, data driven policing in Los Angeles, and a tour of the LAPD Academy grounds.
